This is laugh out loud hilarious. Sooo true. My similar story involved Riesling and asking the neighbors lawn person to mow. It ended with him asking me if I knew how much dog shit was back there...I have a 200 pound dog- duh, I don't go back there!

Once again another totally on target post. I had a similar day on Friday. Spent the afternoon with a few annoying broken things around the house and going up and down the stairs a bzillion times between the electrical box and the appliances that kept blowing the circuits. I was cursing the house and cursing myself for ever thinking that I could be a home owner by myself. Why the hell didn't I buy a nice little condo with a nice little patio instead of a big ass yard with weeds and flowers and grass all over the place ?! I was also cursing myself for not knowing how to do so many things. Why didn't I pay attention all those years while X did most of the home maintenance?? Anyway, it's all overwhelming. I console myself with the idea that every time something goes wrong I learn a little something about how to fix it-- or at least knowing when I am hosed and need to call someone.

I love it. I love you. It is funny in the way that tragedies are always funny. Maybe try dealing with the lawn mower when you are not drunk on sangria???
